Biography

Since childhood, Amir Marcus, music producer and founder of EXM, has had a gift and passion for music. In his youth he composed rock and electronic music and by age 20 had already produced his first CD and was developing the next whilst also playing music sets on Radio 99ESC. 

His CD, "VIP" came out on Black Hole Records together with a vinyl entitled "All My Life".
Amir went on to produce outstanding opera singer “Vik”, broadening his musical repertoire further.
In 2004 EXM was born and Vik’s album won the award for “Best World Music” on ClickSpin.com.

Amir went on to produce multiple soundtracks for commercials and over 1000 ringtones for the major cellular companies in Israel  (Cellcom, Orange, Mirs, Pelephone). Two songs he produced for Dana International (Eurovision winner in 98 with the hit DIVA) “Kiss Your Money Bye Bye” and “Sleeping With Me,” were huge hits in the clubs. 

In 2006 Marcus released a song featuring Kay entitled “If I Will Let You Go” on the “Evita: Special Hits Vol.2” compilation,  a children's charity project involving other artists and headliner DJ/producers such as Offer Nissim, Dj Vic, Tomer G, and Mike Cruz.  In 2007 a collaboration with Moshe Fain, "the FM Project", brought success with a remix under the Perry Twin label "Activate my Body" and three hit singles "Whenever I Feel You", “Angel”, and "Such A Fool" in collaboration with Australian singer Ray Isaac. These successes led to the release of the album "Side A" in 2008 and an invitation for the FM Project to feature in the Gay Parade festival in Brazil.

Success led to success, and a second edition of "Such a Fool" later that year was chosen by Mushroom Pictures (Australia) for the film "Cedar Boys". Later Marcus was hired by Edara Johnson to remix her hit "SAW RED" and in 2009 he collaborated with Turkish star, Cunyet Cakim, leading to the successful release of "Hangi Dua" (Pray for the world), performed by "MINE KOSAN" in Turkish Pop HITS Vol 2.

The same year Marcus closed a deal with VTown Cartel Music who now channel his music to companies like Warner Bros, CBS Paramount pictures, MTV & Fox sports. He ended 2009 having produced music for one of the major shows in A&E channel: "The Jacksons: Family Dynasty" The story of Michael Jackson Family.

With his many projects ongoing, the extreme talent and musical force of Amir Marcus continues to break boundaries and stretch the limits of his creativity.
